  1. The Meeting for the establishment of Steering Committees for WAHO Financial Support to Countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was held from 8 to 9 June 2024 at the ECOWAS Headquarters in Abuja, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  2. In attendance were:
  3. ECOWAS Resident Representatives to Member States,
  4. Nigeria's Permanent Representative to ECOWAS,
  5. The Honourable Members of Parliament of ECOWAS;
  6. The Auditor General of ECOWAS Institutions,
  7. The Representatives of Member States sitting on the ECOWAS Administration and Finance Committee (AFC),
  8. The Director General of WAHO,
  9. WAHO Directors of Department and other Staff,
  10. WAHO Liaison Officers in the Ministries of Health of the Member States,
  11. Financial Managers, members of the Steering Committee for WAHO Financial Support to Countries,
