As part of DG WAHO’s mission in The Gambia, he visited the new site under construction of the quality control laboratory for food and drugs in The Gambia. This new laboratory, a first in The Gambia will go a long way in enhancing the quality control of food and drugs thus having a positive impact not only on the health of the population of The Gambia but the region as a whole.
